Micah's Week

We had such a good time watching Micah!!!!!! We went to the children's discovery museum, Happy Hollow, and really enjoyed getting to know him better. He is a great kid...... We didn't have any problems with him missing his parents (although he was happy to see them when they returned) and we really did have fun.

Adam and the Eagle Scout Award

One of the reasons we went to Oklahoma during this time was because Jim's cousins son Adam was going to receive his Eagle Scout award. What an honor! We traveled up to Kansas and stayed with Glenn and Galynn. We had a good time. We went to the homecoming football game, boy did that bring back memories. Then the next evening was Adam's homecoming dance. The next day was the Eagle Scout ceremony. We were busy but it was an incredible few days.

Well here he is His Highness! It was a fantastic ceremony and reception. I'm so glad that we got to go.

Family in Oklahoma

Oklahoma

Here we are on the farm.... It's great every morning Uncle Verlin takes the gator ( the little vehicle ) out to find the cows. After feeding them this morning we had to separate out two which were limping and run them through the chute to give them injections of antibiotics.

Here they are! They are so friendly that when you stop the gator they all wander over to see what's up? The next picture is a very curious one.
